Chuck Mentions WoW

I watched Chuck last night and was surprised that World of Warcraft was mentioned. The CIA needed Chuck Bartowski to find and train new Intersects for the agency. The general assigned Chuck as their Team Leader and of course Chuck being "Chuck" was fumbling with his new responsibility at the same power was going to his head in a cute and geeky way.


One of the spies he recruited was a guild member of one of the top guilds in World of Warcraft who had Deathwing first kill under their belt. It was funny as hell and caught me by surprise. I seriously wonder how much Blizzard paid for them to be mentioned in the series. I guess it was less than Subway with a whole segment covering how the former manager was loving their sandwiches even under kidnapping duress.
